To learn traditional prayers including: the sign of the cross & table prayers

Three- Year Olds

To play, work, and pray happily with others
To develop a sense of awe, wonder, respect, gratitude, and stewardship for God's creation
To develop a sense of community and worship
To know that God loves, protects, and provides for them
To recognize that prayer is talking with God
To learn traditional prayers including: the sign of the cross, bedtime and table prayers
To ask for, listen to, and talk about Bible stories
To explore spiritual, cognitive, and behavioral concepts in developing life skills that will serve to protect the child and to encourage respect for self and others

Four- Year Olds

To play, work, and pray happily with others
To develop a sense of awe, wonder, respect, gratitude, and stewardship for God's creation
To develop a sense of community and worship
To know that God loves, protects, and provides for them
To recognize that prayer is talking with God
To learn traditional prayers including: the sign of the cross, the Lord's Prayer, bedtime and table prayers
To experience the love of God and Jesus
To explore in active ways the Bible stories that form the Catholic Christian faith
To celebrate their place in God's family
To explore spiritual, cognitive, and behavioral concepts in developing life skills that will serve to protect the child and to encourage respect for self and others
